Attorney at Law

On behalf of our client, a well-known and established law firm in Montenegro, we are looking for an experienced Attorney at Law to become a key member of the senior legal team servicing the top clients within the region.

You will be expected to:

·     Join a professional and dynamic team of lawyers and attorneys;

·     Become a team member of a fast growing law firm with an outstanding track record of major clients within the region;

·     Deliver the highest quality of professional service according to the existing standards of the firm;

·     Represent the law firm at significant events, conferences, meetings, as appropriate;

·     Provide legal advice to clients mostly in the area of commercial and real estate law (international investors, developers, buyers, sellers);

·     Maintain strong and effective relationships with key clients, gain a good understanding of their plans, needs and requirements with clients in order to find the best solution for each individual situation;

·     Represent the clients in the proceedings, protecting their interests and finding effective solutions in line with their business goals;

·     Cooperate with the members of the team either within the law firm or the client team, organise and participate in meetings, make notes and follow up;

·     Prepare and annotate legal documentation as appropriate, agreements, purchase/sale contracts and documents, memorandums, legal opinions, etc.;

In order to succeed, you fulfill the following criteria:

·     Degree in law, bar exam desired;

·     A minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal practice or as an inhouse lawyer;

·     Prior working experience in international environment, whether in an international law firm or an international company;

·     Excellent knowledge of commercial and real estate law;

·     Dedication to deliver the highest quality service at all times;

·     Understanding of modern and fast-paced corporate culture;

·     Ambitious, driven, proactive and open minded personality;

·     Strong communication and interpersonal skills;

·     Ability to build long term relationships;

·     Organisation and prioritising skills, timekeeping and multitasking are necessary;

·     Excellend command of English and Montenegrin/Serbian/Croatian languages;
