Real Estate Lawyer / Attorney

On behalf of our client, a well-known and established law firm in Montenegro, we are looking for an experienced Lawyer or Attorney in the area of Real Estate law, to join their real estate team.

You will be expected to:

·     Join a professional and dynamic team of lawyers and attorneys;

·     Provide legal advice to clients in the area of real estate law (investors, developers, buyers, sellers);

·     Conduct legal research, review available documentation and regulations in order to find the best solution for each individual situation;

·     Prepare and annotate legal documentation as appropriate, agreements, purchase/sale contracts and documents, memorandums, legal opinions, etc.;

·     Represent the clients in the proceedings, protecting their interests and finding effective solutions in line with their business goals;

·     Cooperate with the members of the team either within the law firm or the client team, organise and participate in meetings, make notes and follow up;

·     Deliver the highest quality of professional service according to the existing standards of the firm;

In order to succeed, you fulfill the following criteria:

·     Degree in law, bar exam desired;

·     A minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal practice or as an inhouse lawyer;

·     Prior working experience in international environment, preferably in the area of real estate or with a property developer;

·     Excellent knowledge of real estate law;

·     Strong communication and interpersonal skills;

·     Ability to build long term relationships;

·     Organisation and prioritising skills, timekeeping and multitasking are necessary;

·     Proactive and initiative personality;

·     Excellend command of English and Montenegrin/Serbian/Croatian languages;
